We arrived in Netherlands yesterday, with 4 large suitcases packed full of our lives. It is very exciting as well as scary to start again in a new country. But we are so grateful to our friends Ruud, Petra and Sophie for being so such a help to us as we start on this new adventure. Today we woke up in Rotterdam with a lovely sunrise over the city. Then we spent most of the day in Vlaardingen. We visited the city hall to register for our citizen's numbers (BSN), which they say will take 5-10 business days to arrive. We went to the bank where they said we couldn't get a bank account without a BSN. Then we couldn't get a phone plan until we have a BSN. So we got some prepaid. But we did do a big shop at a chemist and also chose a bed, that we can get as soon as we arrive at the boat. We also checked out some washing machines and other electrical gear, but we'll buy them from nearby Harderwijk as we don't want to have to transport them from here. We also spent some enjoyable time with Ruud and Petra. Here are few photos from our time in Vlaardingen.

When we first bought 'Neo Vita' she was registered at Vlaardingen because that is where the broker's office was located. Good luck with the journey to become Dutchies!
